In 1967 Andy Warhol was exhibited at the Whitney for the first time and Pop Art took precedence in the art scene.

Night Flight sculpture by Theodore Roszak was greatly admired by his friend and collector Armand G. Erpf. He commissioned Roszak to create a variation of Night Flight for his memorial in Arkville, New York.
